New Baby Photo Contest Sponsored by Canon

Canon U.S.A., a leader in digital photography, has announced a new baby photo contest, which offers contestants the opportunity to share images of new additions to their family, and possibly win a prize that could help pay for future education costs.

To start off the contest, Canon is working with well-known baby products brand, Enfamil, to include brochures and a photo book with Enfamil's diaper bag, which is given for free to new mothers at participating hospitals. The brochure will have information about the contest and a special offer for moms who receive the diaper bag. Around one million of these bags are expected to be given out by April 2008.

New mothers who do not receive an Enfamil diaper bag can also enter the contest from December 1, 2007 until May 30, 2008 by visiting Canon's website. The finalists will be announced on July 1, 2008 and the public will get to vote for their favorite photos. The winner will be awarded a grand prize of $10,000, which could be applied toward the child's future education. First, second, and third prizes will also be awarded.
