Texas Baby Photo to Commemorate 7,000th Adoption

There is a charitable organization based out of Texas and Louisiana called Lutheran Social Services. They do a lot of great work for both the young and the old. They help to meet the needs of orphans, poor families, disaster victims and even lonely seniors. But they recently had an exceptional accomplishment. The organization has been arranging adoptions since the 1940s, and they just placed their 7,000th baby with an adoptive family. A loving family from Texas adopted the four-day-old boy. The Texas baby photo appeared in the newspaper as a congratulations to the family as well as the organization.
