It seems like every animal out there looks the cutest when it is a baby, even humans. This is why baby photos are so popular, as well as photos of baby kittens, puppies, and dozens of other animals. Many people see photos of baby animals and decide that they want to adopt a puppy or kitten. However, you need to realize that this is a long-term commitment, almost like a real baby. It is a common occurrence to see animal shelters filled with dogs and cats that are about one year old because so many people adopt puppies and kittens only to give them up when they are not quite so cute anymore. If you are not ready for a 10-15 year commitment, just stick to the photos of baby kittens and puppies.
